Men's
Barbeque
The Men's Ministry of Salem
took time out to have a barbeque this July. Nate and
Barbara
Cochran laid out a spread of food that everyone enjoyed. They put
a great deal of effort into it. The meats were smoked for 24
hours, which gave it a unique flavor.
The men of the
Eugene church, pastored by Tim Sitterly, also attended
with us. Our Pastor at the time, Wayne Mitchell, and Pastor Tim led a lively
sing-along. Tim played guitar while Wayne led the music.
Mike added his drum for a unique sound.
We had lots of animated
conversation, while others played horseshoes
and just got to know one another better. For a little humor,
three of the guys modeled their legs, and noted that they had a reverse
Oreo similarity going on!
