The Men's Ministry
of Salem Living Hope Church meets once a month for breakfast, and for
developing our Christian purpose. We are now working through a
book by John Eldredge, called "Wild at Heart." In his book, he
describes how good men are defined today as just nice guys who listen
well and do what they are told.
Mr. Eldredge believes that deep in a man's heart, he yearns to fight
battles, and to rescue the weak from their oppressors. He invites
all of us to recapture the masculine heart that is ready to fight for a
passionate God. This is not necessarily a physical battle, but
the spiritual battles we are called to fight for Jesus Christ.
We hope that any man that has not committed to attend would
reconsider. Being small in number shows how important each one of
us really is!
