Women's
Ministry
We have a caring and energetic Women's
Ministry. Our Women's Retreat for
2005 was held at a beautiful and inspiring Northwest location. Here we came to draw
closer to one another and to our Lord, Jesus Christ, in a peaceful
setting, away from the cares of the world.
Hello, Sisters in
Christ!
Are you ready for an exciting
coming year in Women's Ministry? The Advisory Team and I know
that God's Spirit will lead you if you allow Him to, and we'll have the
activities and fellowship that He wants us to have.
Please remember that we are
here to advise and pray with you, but this is your Women's
Ministry; we want to make it possible for you to follow through
in God's direction which you are receiving.
Each one of you is special to
God, and He has so many special ways He wants to use you. Please
pray for His direction and to be able to use you and to follow through
with His plans.

A Message From
Patty ....
Are you an intercessor? An intercessor is a person who
prays. And since all of us pray to God, we are all
intercessors. All of us are to be intercessors, praying for the
needs of one another. There are many things to pray about, and so
there are many different kinds of prayers or intercessors. Here
are some of them. Which one are you?
1. Crisis intercessors. They get excited about
what is happening right now, and
pray excitedly about it.
2. List intercessors. They draw up a list and
pray methodically for everyone and
everything on their list.
3. Personal intercessors. These people pray
about people issues.
4. Project intercessors. These people pray
about buildings and projects.
5. Presence intercessors. They pray for the
presence of God.
Is one kind superior or inferior to another? No, a healthy church
needs all these kinds and more, to flourish and grow. So, let's
get out there and pray!
